JCS 2020 CELL DYNAMICS: HOST-PATHOGEN INTERFACE MEETING
17 - 20 May 2020
The third Journal of Cell Science meeting, Cell Dynamics: Host-Pathogen Interface has just been announced. We have a great line up of speakers. The meeting will take place at Wotton house in Surrey UK. Click on image to find out more.
JOE GETS STRUCTURE COVER
Check out Joe's paper entitled "Insights into Kinesin-1 Activation from the Crystal Structure of KLC2 Bound to JIP3", which he started when he was a postdoc in the Way lab. Joe has his own group in the Astbury Centre for Structural Molecular Biology, Leeds University,
ERC SYNERGY GRANT SUCCESS
Michael gets a collaborative ERC synergy grant together with Carolyn Moores (Birkbeck, University of London) and Edgar Gomes (IMM, Lisbon) to determine how the eight different human Arp2/3 complexes regulate the actin cytoskeleton at three hierarchies of biology: molecular, cellular and physiological. We are looking for people to join this exciting project.
JCS CELL DYNAMICS MEETING OPEN
The Journal of Cell Science -
Cell Dynamics: Organelle-Cytoskeleton Interface meeting in Lisbon Portugal organised by Michael Way (Crick, London), Heidi McBride (McGill, Canada), Edgar Gomes (IMM, Lisbon) and Sharon Tooze (Crick) is now open for registration. Click on poster to find out more.
JULIA GETS JCB COVER
Check out Julia's paper entitled "Septins suppress the release of Vaccinia virus from infected cells" which was the basis of her graduate work before heading off for a postdoc with Stephan Grill, TU, Dresden, Germany - http://www.biotec.tu-dresden.de/research/grill/
