ANGIKA GETS A WELLCOME CAREER DEVELOPMENT AWARD

Angika Basant will start her own independent group studying the  Functional Analysis of Tyrosine Phosphatases in Cytoskeletal Regulation and Virus Spread in 2024 at the Randall Centre for Cell & Molecular Biophysics, King's College London, UK.

YAN GETS MARIE SKŁODOWSKA-CURIE FELLOWSHIP FROM EU

February 2021

Yan's fellowship entitled MolecularArp analyzing the role of Arp2/3 isoforms in promoting assembly and disassembly of branched actin networks in vitro is funded by the EU.

ERC SYNERGY GRANT SUCCESS 

October 2018

Way lab gets a collaborative ERC synergy grant with Carolyn Moores (Birkbeck, University of London) and Edgar Gomes (IMM, Lisbon) to determine how the eight different human Arp2/3 iso-complexes regulate the actin cytoskeleton at three hierarchies of biology: molecular, cellular and physiological.  For more details see ArpComplexity page.
